You aren’t super rich.
If you were you’d have all the banks in the world running after your business.
As it is, all you’ve got is a few credit card companies and some of the smaller moneylenders trying to foist money onto you at ‘only 19% APR’.

You aren’t flat broke, either.
If you were you wouldn’t be interested in a programme about your personal finances, you’d want to borrow money. You have some money, even if you are not as well off as you’d like to be. You want to know how to handle your money better, avoid wasting it and keep yourself out of debt.

You’ve come to the right place.
Might just as well worry with me as worry on your own; we’ll sort out something that works for you and that you can handle comfortably.

The problem with most money courses is that they are set, rigid, inflexible, impersonal. They take no account of the knowledge you start with or of what ‘number-capabilities’ you have. You might spend the first half of a standard course yawning with boredom at the simplicity of it. On the other hand you might find that you simply don’t understand the terms being used and feel that asking about them will simply display your ignorance.

The problem with professional financial advisers is that they have their own agendas - commissions to earn from other money dealers, targets to meet to ensure their bonus payments, ladders to climb to enhance even further their fur-lined traps. I am not a financial adviser. I don’t tell you where to put your money. I train you how to think about where to put your money. You decide.

The place to learn about money is at home. The speed at which to learn about money is your own speed. The tool you need to learn about money is someone you can ask; someone who doesn’t assume your knowledge but finds out, right at the beginning; someone who earns no commission, is being paid no bonus and has already reached the top of the ladder.

Here are some frequently asked questions about the programme:

Supposing I cannot keep up, what happens then?

Since we go at entirely your pace, no faster, and since you are dealing with me by email on a one-to-one basis there is no question of not keeping up. I’ll go at your speed, not mine.

Maybe I am not suited to a Personal Financial Programme. How will I know?

Before I accept you as a Mentee on this programme I will ask you a set of Preliminary Questions about finance. They are not a test of you, they are to help me assess whether I can help you. If I don’t think I can, I say so. You pay nothing to complete this set of questions but you do pay for the programme before you answer them. If, after you have answered the Preliminary Questions, I decide that I cannot help you and don’t accept you on the programme you get your money back immediately, in full. If you don’t like this set of questions you say so and get your money back immediately, in full.

Is the programme hard work?

That depends on how numerate you are. Since we go at your pace and the time limit for completing the programme is two years from when you start, you shouldn’t have a problem. The important thing is that we don’t leave one stage until you are completely happy that you understand what I am telling you.

Will the programme enable me to invest successfully in the Stock Exchange?

It is not designed to do so; it is designed to help you handle your personal finances. Of course, some aspects of investing are dealt with but if you want a programme to teach you how to invest and to make you rich, forget this one. This programme, if successful, will help you to avoid getting poor through bad personal money management.

Can I ask any questions I want about handling my personal finance?

Yes, and I will give you the best answer that I can. If I don’t know an answer, I will find out.

Do I meet you to discuss my personal finances?

Not normally. I have over three thousand Mentees by email.
Email has worked well for them. It will work well for you. You CAN see me, but it costs a lot more!
