You want to start a business. Before you do so, prepare thoroughly.

This doesn’t need to take a long time but it does need to be done well. About eighty percent of new businesses fail.

If you don’t prepare properly you run a huge risk of failure.

Most people know that preparing to start a business involves a business plan.
Before you get to that stage you must prepare your own personal plan.

You can only do that if you know…

  • WHAT YOU WANT - very few people do know this; do you?
  • WHO YOU ARE - self-awareness is rare; do you know who you are?
  • WHAT YOU HAVE - talents, drive, assets, intelligence (intellectual and emotional)
  • WHAT YOU NEED - have you worked out a life financial plan; if not, do it now. Vital.

These are the first four stages of START YOUR OWN BUSINESS

Once these stages are complete you must prepare a business plan. As your Business Mentor I will help you to do this. Together we’ll study:

  • The Product or Service you will be providing
  • The Market in which you will be selling
  • The Customers who will buy your product or service
  • The Distributors who will get your product or service to the customers
  • The Suppliers who will be your external resources
  • The Employees who will make (or break) your product or service
  • The Partners who will keep you sane or drive you mad or both
  • The Competitors who will be after your blood
  • The Financiers who will own your blood (and everything else if you’re not careful)

Business is a serious matter. But if you take it too seriously it won’t be fun. If it isn’t fun you won’t succeed. But you will have to work hard. I help you with, and guide you through, all the stages of starting up a business. I don’t do the work for you - you do that or it won’t be your business. I don’t invest in your business because it would colour my advice to you.
I remain totally impartial all the way through. I tell it like it is.

Being your own boss is great, but you dedicate your life to your workers.
