John Bittleston's Promises & Philosophy

MY PROMISES:

  1. EVERYTHING YOU TELL ME IS IN COMPLETE CONFIDENCE AND DOES NOT GO BEYOND ME AT ANY TIME.
  2. Almost all my Mentoring is conducted by email. This has worked extremely well and in nine years every one of the over 3,000 Mentees I have helped has been happy with this method of working.
  3. You get my attention, nobody else¡¯s. If I feel there is a need for me to consult anyone else (because of a particular opportunity or problem) I do so without revealing your name and only after I have asked your permission.
  4. You can normally expect a response within twenty-four hours. I do have a lot of requests for help and if I am getting overloaded I simply don¡¯t accept any more until I can deal with the ones I already have.
  5. Certain checks are conducted for free. I charge for others. You will be told clearly which are which.
  6. You do not have to respond to me as quickly as I try to respond to you. We take the work we are doing together at YOUR pace. If I have not responded to you within 48 hours I have probably not received your email.
  7. When I ask you questions please answer them as openly and fully as you can. We are not playing games, we are dealing with a serious matter - YOU.
  8. You will get the best help and advice I can possibly give you. I am not a magician and I do not find jobs for people.

People who take one of my Courses or Packages can expect to benefit considerably from it. However, I do not guarantee you stardom; I do guarantee to help you aim for it and to improve your chances of achieving it.

"Without your help I would never have achieved my goals. I am deeply grateful to you.¡±

MY PHILOSOPHY:

We probably come this way but once. So our life should be:

Caring for others as well as for ourselves
Successful both in personal satisfaction and financially
Rewarding for the planet we leave behind when we go
As good as we can possibly make it
Tremendous, exciting, happy FUN

So what do I think are the three most important lessons that I have learnt in my life?

  1. Personal standards are the only ones that matter. Others may set targets for you; your own targets are the best ones.
  2. A smile is worth a million words. You can get anything you want if you smile, not if you don't.
  3. Kindness to others is the only training ground for courage. If you are kind you will become brave; the two are inseparable.

What would I most have liked to achieve by the end of my life?

  1. A friend. I have many friends already. I am very blest.
  2. Adequate provision for those I must leave behind when I go. You can only do your best. I have been fortunate so far.
  3. Something useful that nobody has done before. You only know in your own heart of hearts if you achieve this.
  4. A happy memory in the minds of a few people. Only they know.

And what would I like as my epitaph?
